Hawthorn was a minor villain in Archenemies.

Hawthorn is performing a heist alongside six other criminals on the Gatlon City Hospital. They steal multiple black garbage bags of medicines to turn into drugs and sell. Hawthorn and the others enter their getaway car and start driving off. Unbeknownst to them, they are being watched by Sketch's team of the Renegades. Sketch uses his ability to create a nail strip on the road, which pops the tires and forces them to exit the vehicle. Hawthorn grabs an automatic rifle and fires at the Renegades, and manages to hit Red Assassin in the leg before climbing up the side of a building using her tentacles. On the rooftop, Insomnia tries to stop her, but Hawthorn throws her off and quickly flees towards the river.[1]
Hawthorn almost makes it to the river before Insomnia and Monarch catch up to her. They have a short scuffle in an alley, ending as Hawthorn wounds Monarch and jumps onto a passing barge. Less than a minute later, a vigilante prodigy known as the Sentinel, but who is truly Adrian Everhart in disguise, leaps onto the barge and starts a brutal fight. They tackle one another and use their abilities, until Hawthorn captures him and throws him into the river. He sinks immediately and is not seen resurfacing.[2]
Multiple days later, Hawthorn's laboratory is discovered and she is captured by Frostbite's team at a storage yard down by the docks.[3] However, the team does not immediately bring her into custody. Instead, they bind her and begin torturing her for information. They use Turmoil's Sound Deadener to prevent her screams from being heard as they demand that she give them the names and addresses of the drug dealers she has been selling to. Before they get very far, the Sentinel reappears to stop them from going against the Renegade code. However, the team simply takes the opportunity to crush Hawthorn's skull and frame the Sentinel for her death.[4]

- Thorn-Covered Extremities: Hawthorn had six massive, tentacle-like arms that she could extend from and retract into her body at will. They were covered in many sharp spikes, and strong enough to climb and fight with.[1][5]

- While never confirmed or even implied to be an Anarchist, Hawthorn is listed as one in the Cast of Characters at the beginning of Archenemies.[5]
